Meet your nature-loving, storytelling, people-driven design studio
Based in Calgary and designing for business owners who know personal
and business go hand in hand.
To the entrepreneur who longs for balance:
Office politics, water cooler conversations, restricted vacation days, and not seeing a project through to the end.
That’s the life you left behind.
Sure, now, you’re responsible for finances, marketing, and admin work. But in exchange, your days are filled with meaningful partnerships, rewarding work, and space for real life.
I’m talking about signing a contract with the client you’ve been following on Instagram for months, celebrating the launch of your new product line, or hitting pause on the day when your 9-year-old falls at the playground during recess.
All that’s missing? A creative partner who’s dedicated to your growth and helping you achieve the life you want in and outside of work.
(AKA someone who takes on strategy, branding, and design to free up your days, evenings, and weekends.)

And we can design for you too!
A note from Kind Nature Creative Studio’s founder, Tegan.
If you had a time machine and travelled back to meet 14-year-old Tegan, you wouldn’t find a budding creative. There would be no stacks of sketchbooks, paint-covered jeans, or ink-stained fingertips. You’d be more likely to find her buried in a math textbook, calculating what x is, and finding concrete answers to complex questions.
And you probably wouldn’t think that in a few years, she’d be pulling all-nighters at art college and working as an in-house designer for big-name hospitality brands.
But that’s exactly what happened when I swapped Algebra for font pairings.
What never changed, though? My solutions-oriented-focus. Now, it looks like researching your branding needs as much as I research the light and water needs of every new plant baby that lines my bookshelves.
So if you’re all-in on your business, and want a creative partner who’s all-in on your story, brand, and growth, then it’s time we meet!

We’re two peas in a pod (or a cactus in a sunny window) if you care about...
Being kind in life and in business
Giving and receiving empathetic support
Branding that tells your distinct story
Opportunities to co-create and grow
Small details that add richness & depth
Honest and transparent communication
Design decisions rooted in research
Cheering on your clients and community

“Tegan is a dream to work with! Her designs are always fresh and exactly what we're looking for.”
— Jenell, Edo Japan
“You can count on Tegan to ask all the right questions to get the big picture and produce high quality work each time.”
— Frank, Sland Studios
“Tegan is a true strategist and outside the box creative thinker who has a remarkable eye for detail.”
— Alex, Made Foods
Lately, you’ll find Tegan:
Serving up the best damn garlic fondue you’ll ever taste.
Tending to my avocado tree (it’s 6 feet tall and growing!).
Collecting candles purely based on their label.
Getting my caffeine kick from tea instead of coffee.
Stocking my bookshelves like it’s a full-blown library.
Listening to live music at my favourite Calgary bars.
